The Virgin with Child in her lap has her hands joined together in prayer while she gently holds the child's left hand. The Latin phrase "Tu Honorificentia Populi Nostri" engraved around the square porcelain base of the piece means "You Are the Glory of Our People". Handmade from fine porcelain in Valencia, Spain.
