As Pope John Paul II was dying, the world kept watch - some at the Papal residence, many more around the globe through television.

Stories and memories unfolded on the TV screen, inspiring the artist to design this rosary in the colors of the Papal flag.

The Hail Mary beads (Aves) are aragonite. The Our Father beads (Paters) are lemon quartz, accented by pure silver accent beads. Fifty Swarovsky bicone crystals rest between the beads, along with iridescent clear glass seed beads.

The Hail, Holy Queen bead of handmade Czech lampwork contains a tiny rose design within, reminiscent of early rosaries fashioned from dried rose petals.

The intention bead is handmade Czech lampwork glass in a spiral design. The handmade pure silver cross is adorned with five full-faceted citrine gems and four tiny freshwater pearls.
